Phantasialand's fast track is called the Quick Pass, and it works differently from the all-day passes sold at many European parks: you buy faster entry for one specific attraction, one ride, one person and one date. Single passes start cheap on family rides and climb sharply on the headline coasters, while an Ultimate version bundles every participating attraction for a flat fee. This guide breaks down the ride-by-ride prices, where to buy, and the days when the money is better spent elsewhere.

The park packs a lot into a compact footprint, so even a busy afternoon rarely means crossing half the site on foot. That density also means queues concentrate at a handful of marquee rides, particularly Taron and the Rookburgh flyer, F.L.Y. Deciding whether to pay for faster access starts with knowing which rides you actually want to repeat.

What Phantasialand's fast track is called and how it works

The Quick Pass is a dated, single-ride upgrade that lets you enter a participating attraction through a dedicated entrance instead of the standard queue. It is sold in two formats: individual passes tied to one named ride, and the Quick Pass Ultimate, which covers one faster entry to every available Quick Pass attraction and adds F.L.Y. It is not a timed return system, so you still choose when in the day to use it.

Availability is deliberately capped, so the pass is not something you can count on buying at 3pm on a sold-out Saturday. Each pass is valid only on the date printed on it and stops working when that day ends. Present it at the Quick Pass entrance without being asked, or you will simply be turned toward the regular queue.

Do not confuse the two dated products in play here. Your park ticket is bound to a visit date, and so is the Quick Pass; if you shift your park day, the pass you already bought does not shift with it. Buy fast track only once you have locked your date.

Quick Pass (Single): prices by attraction

Single passes are priced by ride, which makes the spread unusually wide for a park of this size. The cheapest tier covers Colorado Adventure, Die 3 Mausketiere, Maus au Chocolat, Mystery Castle and Talocan at five euros each. Winja's Fear and Winja's Force sit in the middle at seven euros.

The top tier reflects demand. Black Mamba, Chiapas and Taron each cost ten euros for one faster ride, while River Quest, the wettest water ride, costs twelve; the pricing places the big coasters and water rides firmly above the family attractions. For a family working out whether to pay for a shortcut, the difference between five euros on Maus au Chocolat and ten on a launch coaster is the whole decision.

Treat the per-ride prices as the official published rates at the time of writing rather than a fixed tariff that never moves. Because prices can be adjusted, confirm the number at the point of sale or on the official attraction overview before you budget for a group of four or five.

Quick Pass Ultimate: what the bundled pass includes

The Quick Pass Ultimate is priced at eighty euros and gives one faster entry to every available Quick Pass attraction, including the ones that cost twelve euros individually. It also adds one faster entry to F.L.Y., a benefit otherwise reserved for guests staying at Hotel Charles Lindbergh. For a solo thrill-seeker planning to hit the big coasters once each, the bundle can undercut buying singles one by one.

The maths turns against the Ultimate the moment you plan to repeat rides. Every pass, single or Ultimate, covers one entry per attraction and one person only, so a second lap on Taron means buying a second pass. On a quiet day, three or four short waits can easily cost less than the bundle.

Where to buy a Quick Pass and how availability works

Quick Passes are sold at Guest Services on Kaiserplatz in the Berlin theme world, not at the turnstiles, and stock is limited each day. Head there early on a busy date rather than mid-afternoon, when popular rides may already be sold out. The same desk handles lost property, pushchair questions and general help, so it can get busy at opening time.

The Ultimate version includes the F.L.Y. benefit that hotel guests at Charles Lindbergh get as part of their stay, so compare the two routes before spending on the bundle. If you are already booked into the hotel, the extra F.L.Y. access is largely duplicated.

Terms you agree to: one ride, one person, one date

A Quick Pass is not transferable and cannot be exchanged once bought. It admits one person for a single ride on the named attraction, and it expires at the end of the printed date. Group bookings therefore mean buying one pass per rider, not one per family.

If your plans are uncertain, keep the park ticket flexible where the product allows and postpone the pass until the day is fixed. Rebooking is not an option on dated tickets or passes, so a rained-off Saturday can leave you holding entry you cannot use.

When a Quick Pass is worth buying: peak days and Wintertraum

Fast track earns its price on days when the park fills up: weekends, school holidays and the opening weekend of a seasonal event. Wintertraum, which runs from 14 November 2026 to 24 January 2027, draws big crowds and short daylight, so a pass lets you fit the headline rides into fewer hours. During that season the park opens from 11am to 8pm each day, closing on 24 and 25 December 2026 and 1 January 2027.

If you only have one day and the big coasters are the point of the trip, a targeted pass on Taron plus one water ride often makes more sense than the Ultimate. A family with young children will get more value from the five-euro tier on gentle attractions than from the top-priced coasters.

When to skip it: quiet weekdays and short waits

Outside German school holidays, midweek days in spring and autumn usually move quickly, and the compact layout means you waste little time walking between rides. On those days the money is better kept for a sit-down meal or a return visit. Wait times are shown on screens inside the park and in the Phantasialand app, so you can judge live demand before heading to Guest Services.

Weather changes the calculation. Water rides lose their appeal in cold or wet conditions, while indoor attractions and shows soak up crowds, so watch the app through the morning and buy a pass only if the ride you care about is climbing.

Hotel perks: F.L.Y. fast access for Hotel Charles Lindbergh guests

Guests at Hotel Charles Lindbergh receive one faster entry to F.L.Y. per person per night as part of the stay, which removes the single strongest reason to buy the Ultimate bundle. The hotel sits inside Rookburgh beside the flying coaster, making it the most theme-heavy of the on-site options.

Hotel Ling Bao and Hotel Matamba appeal more to families who want space, pools and a relaxed evening after the gates close, though they do not carry the same coaster perk. Compare room types and package inclusions before deciding whether the F.L.Y. benefit is worth the premium.

Ride order for thrill-seekers without a Quick Pass

Without a pass, the winning strategy is to head straight for the highest-demand coasters at rope drop, using the gap between park opening and the attractions' own start time to be in position. Taron and F.L.Y. absorb queues fastest, so ride them first, then work through Black Mamba and Chiapas before lunch.

Use the middle of the day for indoor attractions, shows and food while outdoor queues peak, then return to the coasters in the final two hours. Check the Phantasialand map to plan a loop through the themed worlds rather than backtracking.

Ride order for families with younger children

Families should start in the gentler themed areas with rides such as Bolles Riesenrad, Würmling Express and the Wözl water play attractions, which rarely build long lines early. Maus au Chocolat and Die 3 Mausketiere are the family rides most worth a five-euro pass if the queue grows. Save the bigger coasters for older children while a parent waits with younger ones.

Guest Services at Kaiserplatz can help with pushchair queries and accessibility questions, while baby-care facilities are handled by the multilingual team there. Rider swap lets parents take turns on height-restricted rides without both queueing twice.

Using the app and in-park screens to judge waits

The free Phantasialand app shows live waiting times, show times and attraction opening hours, and the same information appears on screens around the park. Use it to decide whether a pass is needed at all. Because the figures are estimates, treat a twenty-minute reading as a rough guide rather than a promise.

If you are comparing queue-jump options across parks, note that Phantasialand's per-ride model differs from systems such as Rulantica fast track, where entry works on a different basis entirely, and it is worth checking the Legoland Deutschland fast track and the Heide Park fast track too, since each park structures its paid shortcuts differently.

Tickets and opening hours that frame your day

Park tickets are sold online only, valid for the chosen date, and there is no box office on site. You can buy same-day entry in the online shop until 2pm, subject to availability. The season runs from 28 March 2026 to 24 January 2027, with general opening from 9am to at least 6pm and attractions from 10am.

Children aged 0 to 3 enter free without a pre-booked ticket, provided you bring ID or a birth certificate copy, and birthday children up to 11 also get free entry when reserved online. Every ticket carries a maximum order of 30 and cannot be rebooked, so fix your group size before buying.

Other paid extras: lockers and what they cost

Lockers sit in Berlin beside the Pferdekarussell and in Mexico at the Colorado Adventure exit. A coded wristband from Guest Relations costs five euros and opens your locker all day. That matters on wet rides such as River Quest and Chiapas, where bags and phones need somewhere dry to sit.

Plan Your Visit

Fast track at Phantasialand is a per-ride purchase rather than an all-day privilege, so the decision is really about which attractions justify the extra spend. Buy singles for the rides you will actually repeat, consider the Ultimate only if you want a single pass covering everything, and let hotel perks cover F.L.Y. where they apply.

Check the official ticket calendar and opening hours before booking anything dated, since both the park ticket and the Quick Pass lock to a single day and cannot be moved. With dates fixed and expectations set, a day at Phantasialand plans itself around the queues you choose to skip.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does fast track cost at Phantasialand?

Quick Passes are priced per attraction. Family rides including Maus au Chocolat, Mystery Castle and Talocan sit in the lowest tier, mid-tier passes cover Winja's Fear and Winja's Force, and the big coasters and water rides such as Taron, Black Mamba, Chiapas and River Quest cost more. The Quick Pass Ultimate, which covers every participating attraction plus F.L.Y., is sold at a single higher price. The official attraction overview lists the current figures for each ride.

Is there a fast track at Phantasialand, and what is it called?

Yes. The park's queue-jump product is the Quick Pass, sold in a single-ride version tied to one named attraction and an Ultimate version that covers every participating attraction plus one faster entry to F.L.Y. Neither is a timed return system, so you choose when during the day to use it. Passes are bought at Guest Services on Kaiserplatz in the Berlin theme world.

Does the Quick Pass Ultimate cover F.L.Y.?

The Ultimate includes one faster entry to F.L.Y. in addition to every other available Quick Pass attraction. That F.L.Y. access is otherwise a perk for guests staying at Hotel Charles Lindbergh, so if you are already booked there the bundle duplicates something you get with the room. For everyone else it is the only way to skip the flying coaster's queue without a hotel stay.

Can you buy a Quick Pass on the day of your visit?

Yes, passes are sold in person at Guest Services rather than online, but availability is capped each day and popular rides can sell out. On weekends, school holidays and event periods, go to the desk early instead of mid-afternoon. Each pass is valid only on the date printed on it and cannot be exchanged.

Is fast track worth buying at Phantasialand?

It depends on the day and the ride. On a quiet midweek date outside school holidays, waits are usually short enough that a pass adds little. On peak weekends or during Wintertraum, a targeted single pass on the coaster you most want to ride often costs less than the Ultimate bundle, especially if you do not plan to repeat rides.

Do hotel guests get fast track at Phantasialand?

Guests at Hotel Charles Lindbergh get one faster entry to F.L.Y. per person per night as part of the stay. Hotel Ling Bao and Hotel Matamba do not carry the same coaster perk, so families choosing between the three should weigh the F.L.Y. benefit against room size, pools and evening space. Compare package inclusions before booking.

Do you need a Quick Pass to ride Taron or Black Mamba?

No. Every attraction has a standard queue that all ticket holders can use, and the Quick Pass only buys faster entry through a separate entrance. Without a pass, ride the big coasters in the first hour and again in the final two hours of the day, and use the middle of the day for indoor attractions and shows.
