Phantasialand packs its headline coasters, dark rides and shows into a compact park outside Brühl, and your ticket choice shapes how much of that day you get for your money. Standard park tickets, winter-season fares and hotel packages each suit a different kind of visit.

Park tickets start at 49 euros, and Phantasialand states that prices can rise at any time while availability is limited, so the fare you see on a Monday may not last until the weekend. Wintertraum tickets for November were offered in a pre-sale running until 26 October. Use the Phantasialand guide to plan which lands and rides to prioritise once your date is set.

Which Phantasialand ticket suits your visit

Buy a standard dated park ticket if you are visiting outside the winter season and want one straightforward day in the park. It suits families splitting time between gentler rides and shows, and thrill-seekers heading straight for the big coasters.

Choose a Wintertraum ticket if your trip falls between mid-November and late January, when the park runs a separate winter season with its own evening programme. Phantasialand sold November dates through a pre-sale that ran until 26 October, so booking before that cutoff gave access to the lowest winter fares.

Book a hotel package if you want entry bundled with a room, breakfast and direct access to the park. That structure suits short breaks where you want two days on site without repurchasing entry separately.

Ticket types and what each includes

A single-day park ticket covers admission and all rides and shows running that day, including the themed worlds such as Klugheim and Rookburgh. Nothing in the standard product limits you to a set list of attractions.

Phantasialand's own shop sells dated online tickets with advance purchase, which is the main product for most visitors. The park's main ticket listing does not break out child, annual pass or multi-day rates, so compare any add-on product against the standard day fare before committing. For the same day-versus-multi-day decision at a larger resort, our Europa-Park tickets and prices breakdown is a useful comparison point.

Hotel stays work as a different kind of ticket: the room rate bundles admission across the stay, breakfast, free parking at the hotel, Wi-Fi in the lobby and rooms, and a shopping delivery service to the hotel reception.

How prices vary by date and season

Phantasialand uses demand-based pricing, and its own site states that prices can rise daily while availability is limited. That means the cheapest fares sit in the earliest part of a sale window, and waiting rarely brings the number down.

Season matters as much as the day. The winter season carries its own fare structure with pre-sale prices for November, while summer and shoulder-season dates are sold through the standard park ticket at the general starting rate.

Short-break packages also move with demand: the hotel side advertises up to 30 percent off on selected October and November dates. Treat that as a date-specific saving rather than a permanent rate.

Wintertraum tickets and winter dates

Wintertraum runs from 14 November 2026 to 24 January 2027, daily from 11:00 to 20:00, with the park closed on 24 and 25 December 2026, 1 January 2027 and 12 to 13 January 2027. On 31 December 2026 the park runs 11:00 to 18:00 instead.

A Wintertraum ticket covers the winter version of the park: lit themed worlds, the Lights of Memories light trail and the daily closing show. November dates were sold in a pre-sale that ran until 26 October, with fares from 35 euros.

Pick your date against the closure list before booking, because the gaps around Christmas, New Year and mid-January fall inside the season. If a date is unavailable in the shop, the park is not selling that day rather than being sold out.

Online advance tickets versus buying on the day

Advance online purchase is the safer route for a park of this size, since Phantasialand caps availability and moves prices upward as dates fill. Booking before you travel also locks in the winter pre-sale rate. Check current prices before booking.

Buying on the day leaves you exposed to the price at that moment and to any date that has sold through. If your trip dates are fixed, book ahead; if they are flexible, watch the sale calendar and pick the cheapest valid date within your window.

Discounts and promotional fares

The clearest official discount is the Wintertraum pre-sale, which ran until 26 October with November fares from 35 euros. Phantasialand lists this as a limited allocation with prices that can rise at any time.

Hotel breaks carry their own seasonal savings, advertised as up to 30 percent off on selected October and November dates. Those rates apply to the room-and-entry package rather than to park tickets bought on their own.

Third-party resale listings and supermarket promotions circulate widely, but the terms, date restrictions and included products vary. Check any such offer against the official ticket page before you rely on it for a fixed travel date.

Hotel packages: Ling Bao, Matamba and Charles Lindbergh

The three on-site hotels each suit a different trip. Hotel Matamba is the family choice, built around an African theme with play and climbing space for children, while Hotel Ling Bao brings an Asian theme and an exclusive pool and Mandala Spa for its guests.

Hotel Charles Lindbergh sits inside Rookburgh, with cabins styled as aviation quarters and an experience package that includes a three-course dinner, breakfast in the Uhrwerk restaurant, park adventure across two days and exclusive in-hotel experiences.

All three hotels include direct access to the park through an exclusive gate, breakfast, free hotel parking, free Wi-Fi and a shopping delivery service. Compare the room styles and park views in the Phantasialand Hotels Compared breakdown before booking.

Quick Pass and other ways to cut queueing

The Quick Pass is a hotel benefit, not a standalone product. Guests at Hotel Matamba or Hotel Ling Bao get one faster entry per person per night to selected attractions, during park opening and only with a valid park ticket in hand.

The named rides are Chiapas, Maus au Chocolat, Talocan, Winja's Fear & Force and Colorado Adventure, which covers a useful spread of water, dark and coaster rides across the park. Plan your Quick Pass slot for whichever of those typically draws the longest line on your date.

Outside the hotels, the practical way to cut waiting is ride order: head for the big coasters at opening and save shows and dark rides for the middle of the day. Ride locations and character are set out in the Phantasialand rides overview.

Park opening times and how the calendar works

Phantasialand publishes daily opening hours with attractions starting later than the gates, so treat any general pattern as a guide rather than a timetable for your date. Winter days run to their own schedule of 11:00 to 20:00.

The official opening-hours page is the one place worth checking for the exact day you plan to travel, especially around public holidays and the winter closures. Check Phantasialand opening times before fixing a travel plan around a specific arrival.

Wintertraum shows and events included with a ticket

A Wintertraum ticket includes seven large shows, split between three theatre productions and four outdoor shows staged inside the themed worlds. The daily finale, Magic Symphony, closes the evening with light, music and staging.

Magic Symphony can be cancelled in bad weather such as strong wind, in which case the day ends with a shorter Good Night Wish of music and light instead. On a windy winter evening, plan to see the other shows earlier rather than relying on the finale.

The season also brings its own food: glühwein, hot smoked salmon, dumpling specialities and warm crumble appear across the winter stalls. These sit alongside the park's permanent restaurants, so a Wintertraum day does not force you into a single menu.

Booking add-ons: brunches, dinners and Fantissima

Several Phantasialand food events bundle entry, which is a different way to buy your park day. The Asia Winterbrunch includes a visit to Wintertraum, and the Asia-Brunch includes entry to the regular park season.

The Fantissima dinner show is sold separately from park admission, with its own pricing and arrangements, and works as an evening rather than a park day. Guests staying at Hotel Ling Bao can combine a show evening with a hotel stay.

Dining experiences in the hotel restaurants, including the African and Asian venues, can be booked without a park ticket or a hotel room. That makes them a sensible option for a travel day when you want the food without a full park visit.

Common ticket mistakes to avoid

The most frequent error is buying a winter fare for a date outside the season, or a standard ticket for a day inside Wintertraum. Match the product to the dates in the published winter calendar before paying.

The second is assuming a paid fast-track product exists. Queue-cutting comes with a hotel stay at Matamba or Ling Bao, and only alongside a valid park ticket.

The third is overlooking closed days. The winter season pauses on 24 and 25 December 2026, 1 January 2027 and 12 to 13 January 2027, and New Year's Eve finishes early at 18:00.

Choosing Your Phantasialand Ticket

For a single summer or shoulder-season day, buy a dated park ticket early at the lowest price you can find in the sale window. For a winter trip, book a Wintertraum fare against the published calendar and plan the day around the evening show.

For a short break, price a hotel package at Ling Bao, Matamba or Charles Lindbergh against separate tickets, since the room rate adds breakfast, parking, direct park access and the hotel Quick Pass.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much are Phantasialand tickets?

Phantasialand sells dated park tickets from a published starting fare and states that prices can rise while availability is limited, so the cheapest fares appear early in each sale window. Winter fares for November were sold in a pre-sale that ended on 26 October. Take the live fare from the official ticket page for your exact date.

Is it cheaper to buy Phantasialand tickets online in advance?

Usually yes. Phantasialand sells dated online tickets in advance and moves prices upward as dates fill, so booking early secures the lower fare and a confirmed date. Buying on the day leaves you paying whatever the current price is.

Does Phantasialand have a fastpass or queue-jump ticket?

Phantasialand does not sell a standalone fast-track product. Guests staying at Hotel Matamba or Hotel Ling Bao receive a Quick Pass giving one faster entry per person per night to selected attractions, valid only with a park ticket and only during park opening.

What is included in a Phantasialand hotel and ticket package?

Hotel stays bundle admission with a room, breakfast, free hotel parking, Wi-Fi in the lobby and rooms, direct access to the park through a guest gate and a shopping delivery service. The Charles Lindbergh package adds a three-course dinner and two days of park adventure.

What are the Wintertraum dates and are they separately ticketed?

Wintertraum runs from 14 November 2026 to 24 January 2027, daily from 11:00 to 20:00, with closures on 24 and 25 December 2026, 1 January 2027 and 12 to 13 January 2027, and an 11:00 to 18:00 day on 31 December 2026. Wintertraum is sold as its own ticket product.

Is park entry included with Phantasialand brunches and dinners?

The Asia Winterbrunch includes a visit to Wintertraum and the Asia-Brunch includes park entry, so both bundle admission into the event. Restaurant dinners in the hotels can be booked without a park ticket or a hotel room, which makes them a separate product.
