Methodology

How we research theme park decisions.

Our Editorial Philosophy

The right park, day and ticket depend on who is going, when and on what budget. We explain the options using cited sources, then the tradeoffs.

How We Weigh Options

Recommendations consider these criteria and explain their limits:

  1. 1

    Trip fit

Match the group — young children, teens, thrill-seekers — and the decision the guide addresses.

  2. 2

    Scope

Check what a ticket, hotel package or fast-track product includes, including stated restrictions.

  3. 3

    Season and calendar

Distinguish the park's published calendar from live availability on the day.

  4. 4

    Evidence

Cite factual claims and identify unsupported or uncertain details.

What We Don't Rank By

Understanding what we explicitly exclude matters for trust.

  • ✗Affiliate commission rates
  • ✗Paid placement
  • ✗Invented visits
  • ✗Unverified guarantees

Where Our Data Comes From

Our recommendations synthesize multiple signal types. We prioritize signals in this order:

  1. 1. Park operators

Official calendars, maps, ride lists, height limits, hotel and ticket terms

  2. 2. Transport operators and tourism offices

    Routes, services and destination context

  3. 3. Attributed reporting

Published context with an identifiable source and date

Handling Uncertainty

When a source doesn't confirm a detail, the guide says so and points you to the park's own page to check. We'd rather be clear about what is published than guess.
