Thorpe Park Fast Track: Packages, Prices and Ride Coverage
Thorpe Park Fastrack ranges from a single-ride One Shot to all-day access across 15 rides. Compare every package and see which rides each one covers.
On this page
Thorpe Park Fastrack is the resort's paid queue-jump system: a per-person pass that lets you enter a ride through a dedicated Fastrack entrance instead of the main queue. It is built for a thrill-led park where the headline coasters draw the longest waits, so the packages are tiered by ride count rather than by time slot. Choosing between them comes down to which coasters you refuse to leave without riding.
Four packages are sold online in advance and a fifth option is bought inside the park on the day, so there is a low-commitment route as well as an all-day one. Everything below reflects how the packages are structured on the official Fastrack page, from the three-ride Bronze tier to the Platinum pass that adds the park's newest headline coaster.
What Fastrack is and who it suits at a thrill-led park
Fastrack buys you a shorter wait at specific rides, not a fixed return time: you turn up at the Fastrack entrance and scan in. That makes it flexible in a way timed systems are not, because you can fit a Fastrack ride around the rest of your day rather than planning the day around it. It also means the value depends entirely on how busy the park is and how many of the included rides you actually want to do.
At Thorpe Park the queues concentrate on the big coasters, so Fastrack is most useful to thrill-seekers targeting a short list of headline rides and to anyone visiting on a busy date with limited time. Families with young children often get less from it, because the gentler attractions are rarely the bottleneck. If you are still deciding whether the park itself fits, the Thorpe Park guide covers the ride lineup and who each area suits.
Fastrack is an add-on: park admission is sold separately, and the official page recommends making sure both your entry ticket and your Fastrack package are available before you buy either. Starting prices for the day packages run from £9 for Bronze through £35 for Silver and £115 for Gold to £135 for Platinum, all per person.
Bronze Fastrack: three rides from the mixed thrill list
Bronze is the entry tier, allowing you to reduce your wait three times on a list of nine thrill rides. The lineup mixes coasters with water and flat rides: Detonator, Flying Fish, Ghost Train, Rush, Samurai, Storm Surge, Tidal Wave, Vortex and The Walking Dead: The Ride. Bronze starts from £9 per person, which makes it the cheapest way to shorten waits on a handful of rides rather than committing to an all-day pass.
The list is deliberately not a coaster package. If your priorities are the big steel coasters, Bronze will not touch them, but it is a sensible fit for a mixed group where some riders want the drop tower or the water rides and others want coasters. Note that Bronze does not include Hyperia.
Silver Fastrack: the five classic coasters package
Silver is the cleanest option for coaster riders: five uses on five classic coasters, namely Colossus, Nemesis Inferno, Stealth, SAW – The Ride and THE SWARM. There is no need to book a time, so you go straight to the ride's Fastrack entrance when it suits you. Silver starts from £35 per person and, like the other day packages, excludes Hyperia.
For many visitors this is the sweet spot, because those five coasters are the backbone of a thrill-focused day. Anyone travelling specifically for the park's newest coaster should look at the Platinum tier instead, while readers comparing individual coasters can weigh them up in the Thorpe Park rides section.
The five rides Silver covers are each worth reading up on before you commit. Colossus at Thorpe Park is the long-standing multi-inversion coaster, Nemesis Inferno at Thorpe Park is the inverted layout, and Stealth at Thorpe Park is the launch coaster that dominates its corner of the park. The Swarm at Thorpe Park and SAW: The Ride round out the set.
If you want to dig into one of them in detail, the guide to SAW: The Ride at Thorpe Park: What to Expect and Who It Suits explains its theming and intensity, and The Swarm at Thorpe Park covers the winged coaster's layout. Reading those before you buy helps you decide whether Silver's five rides are the five you actually want.
Gold Fastrack: all-day access across 14 rides
Gold steps up to all-day access on 14 Fastrack rides for £115 per person, covering the five Silver coasters plus Rush, Samurai, The Walking Dead: The Ride, Tidal Wave, Ghost Train, Vortex, Detonator, Storm Surge and Flying Fish. Unlike the single-use tiers, Gold lets you repeat rides all day, so it suits visitors who plan to loop their favourites. It still does not include Hyperia.
The all-day format is where the three-minute scan rule starts to matter. Each all-day pass can be scanned once every three minutes, so it removes repeat queueing but not the walk between rides. That is generous across a full day but rules out rapid-fire re-rides on the same coaster.
Platinum Fastrack: the only package that includes Hyperia
Platinum is the only day-visitor package that lists Hyperia, adding it to the same 14 rides as Gold for all-day access across 15. It starts from £135 per person. If Hyperia is the reason for your trip, this is the tier to buy, because Bronze, Silver and Gold all exclude it.
Hyperia at Thorpe Park anchors Fearless Valley, and it is the ride most likely to shape your day plan, so pairing Platinum with an early arrival usually pays off. Read the Hyperia guide to understand its layout and restraints before deciding how many Fastrack rides you want to bank on it.

One Shot Fastrack bought in the park on the app or by QR code
One Shot is the low-commitment option: a single skip-the-queue purchase from £6, bought during your visit through the official Thorpe Park app or by scanning a QR code at the entrance of any rollercoaster. It is ideal if you want one ride on one coaster without paying for a package. All Fastrack is sold in limited numbers and subject to availability, so the option you want may not be there late in the day.
How scanning works, the three-minute rule and one-person limits
Every package is sold per person and cannot be shared between a group, so a family of four needs four passes. All-day passes scan once every three minutes, which stops instant repeat scans but leaves plenty of scope across a day. One Shot purchases are single-use.
Fastrack tickets are non-refundable, so buy for the rides you genuinely intend to do rather than as insurance against a busy day. If you are also weighing up annual and multi-day options, the Thorpe Park tickets page compares the entry products that sit underneath Fastrack.
Prices, what is and is not included, and why park entry is separate
All published Fastrack prices are starting prices per person: Bronze from £9, Silver from £35, Gold from £115, Platinum from £135 and One Shot from £6. What you actually pay depends on the date and how far ahead you book, so treat these as a floor rather than a fixed quote.
None of the packages include park admission; you need a valid entry ticket as well. The Extras page groups Fastrack alongside car parking, digital photo packages and VIP experiences, which is a useful reminder that queue-jumping is one of several optional upgrades rather than part of the base ticket.
Parking is also sold as a separate extra, and buying it online in advance saves time at the barrier. If you are working out the total cost of a visit, factor entry, any Fastrack tier and parking together before committing.
Is Fastrack worth it? Matching the package to your must-ride list
Start from the rides you would be disappointed to miss, then pick the cheapest package that covers all of them. A coaster-focused visitor who wants Colossus, Nemesis Inferno, Stealth, SAW and The Swarm fits Silver exactly, while anyone adding Hyperia needs Platinum. If your list is mostly flat rides and water rides, Bronze is the better buy.
All-day tiers only pay off if you plan to use them repeatedly. On a shorter visit or one spent partly watching shows and eating, the single-use tiers do the same job for far less. Arriving at opening and riding the biggest coasters first remains the most effective free strategy, with Fastrack layered on top for repeats.
For comparison with another Merlin park's system, the Alton Towers fast track guide explains how a competing queue-jump product is tiered. It is a useful sanity check on what you get for your money before committing to an all-day pass.
Fright Nights and scare maze add-ons sold separately from ride Fastrack
Fright Nights is Thorpe Park's Halloween season, and its scare mazes are sold as separate add-ons rather than being covered by ride Fastrack. Named mazes include DeadBeat, Trailers, Stitches and Survival Games. If you are visiting for the Halloween event, budget for maze entry on top of any ride package.
Some Fright Nights short-break packages bundle event entry with accommodation, which can be better value than buying each element separately. The event runs for a limited season each autumn, so plan around the published dates: Thorpe Park lists the Fright Nights dates, and a late-October visit does not automatically include mazes.

Bundling Fastrack with a Thorpe Shark Cabins stay
The Breaks with All Day Fastrack package bundles one night in the Thorpe Shark Cabins, one day of park entry, unlimited Fastrack for the day, buffet breakfast and free parking, from £68 per person on selected 2026 dates. Those dates run across late April, a block of September dates and several October dates including Fright Nights entry. It is a different purchase from the day-visitor Fastrack packages and is limited to those dates.
Unlimited Fastrack on this break covers a wider ride list than the day packages, including Hyperia alongside Colossus, Nemesis Inferno, Stealth, SAW – The Ride, The Swarm and others. For a two-day trip built around coasters, bundling stay and Fastrack usually works out better than assembling the pieces separately.
Alternative ways to cut queueing time
Fastrack is not the only route to a shorter wait. Arriving for opening and heading straight to the most popular coaster is free and effective, and single-rider queues, where a ride offers them, move faster for solo visitors. Ride availability and live queue times are shown in the official Thorpe Park app, which is the simplest way to steer around a temporarily long line.
Guests who cannot queue for long periods for medical reasons should look at the park's accessibility scheme rather than buying Fastrack. The Thorpe Park accessibility guide explains how ride access works and what evidence is needed.
Where to buy and how availability affects your day
Buy day-visitor Fastrack online in advance through the official Thorpe Park site, where the four packages are listed with their ride lineups and starting prices. Because Fastrack is capped and non-refundable, check that your chosen tier covers the rides you care about before paying. The official Fastrack page is the place to confirm current pricing and availability for your date.
If you leave it until the day, One Shot purchases through the app or at coaster entrances give you a fallback, but popular rides can sell out of slots. Buying the tier you want in advance is the safer approach on peak dates.
Plan Your Visit
Fastrack at Thorpe Park rewards a clear plan: list your must-ride coasters, pick the cheapest tier that covers all of them, and remember that Hyperia only appears on Platinum among the day packages. Buy online, keep park entry separate in your budget and decide whether a Fastrack short break suits your dates better than a day pass.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it worth getting Fastrack at Thorpe Park?
It is worth it if you have a specific list of headline rides and limited time, because the queues concentrate on the big coasters. If you mainly want gentler attractions or plan to ride each big coaster once, arriving at opening usually achieves the same result without the extra cost.
Which Thorpe Park Fastrack package includes Hyperia?
Only Platinum lists Hyperia among the day-visitor packages, and it covers all-day access across 15 rides. Bronze, Silver and Gold all exclude Hyperia, so anyone travelling for that coaster should choose Platinum; the official Fastrack page lists the current starting price.
Can I buy Fastrack at Thorpe Park on the day?
Yes. One Shot Fastrack is bought during your visit through the official Thorpe Park app or by scanning a QR code at a rollercoaster entrance, and it covers a single skip-the-queue use. Availability is limited, so the ride you want may sell out on busy dates.
How does Fastrack work at Thorpe Park?
You scan in at a dedicated Fastrack entrance rather than joining the main queue. Packages are per person and cannot be shared, and all-day passes can be scanned once every three minutes, which allows repeats across a day but not instant re-rides.
Is Fastrack included with park entry at Thorpe Park?
No. Park admission is sold separately from every Fastrack package, and the park advises checking that both your entry ticket and your Fastrack choice are available before buying. The all-day Fastrack short break is the exception, since it bundles entry, a cabin stay and unlimited Fastrack.
Can I skip queues at Thorpe Park with an access pass?
Guests who cannot queue for extended periods for medical reasons should use the park's accessibility scheme rather than buying Fastrack. The accessibility guide explains how ride access is arranged and what documentation is required.
